  6. GENERAL 
  7. INFORMATION:   A customer was having a problem with the ELS I v2.12 SHGEN
  8.                and the SMC PC130E card.  It seems that no matter what we
  9.                tried, we couldn't get the shell to work.  We eventually had
  10.                the customer generate a NetWare 286 v2.15c shell and the
  11.                system came right up.

  13.                There may be a problem with the ELS I v2.12 SHGEN.  It may
  14.                have just been a corrupt SHGEN, but this is not likely since
  15.                it worked with other cards.
